Shinghvi, who cost Torna Rs 31,000, scored 80 runs from eight games in MPL-I, with a strike-rate of 112.68, and a highest of a 24-ball 32 against Shivneri Lions. Shinghvi showed remarkable improvement in MPL-II, scoring 152 runs in seven games in a season, where most of his other team-mates struggled with the bat. He averaged almost 22, with a strike-rate of 123, and played his best knock in the MPL, a 34-ball 52 against Panhala Panthers. He proved to be a useful part-timer, taking two wickets from four opportunities he got to bowl, and conceding just 6.25 runs per over.
