One of the costliest player in the Supremos squad. Jitendra Patil is a left-arm pacer, one of the quickest in the State. His talent has seen him represent Maharashtra in all the age groups, eventually graduating to the Ranji team. His talent was spotted by the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore, who signed him for their development squad. Patil has also won the BCCI’s Border-Gavaskar scholarship. Having missed the first MPL season completely, Patil proved his worth in the season-II, claiming 16 wickets in nine games. His average of 12 runs per wicket, and economy rate of 5.90 despite bowling with the field restrictions, is nothing short of extraordinary.
