Sindhudurg Sailors are a team gunning for success this season. Their will to win has seen them sign ten new players and make valuable additions to their squad worth Rs. 3.5 lacks. Sailors are a team owned by Dahad Garments- ALONZO. Dahad Garments is an offshoot of the Dahad Group headed by Mr. Ruben Dahad, who himself was a well renowned cricketer and has represented the State in various age groups. For a person to whom cricket is his life, expressed that he would never have let this opportunity go off his hands and would do his bit to give something back to the game which has given him the identity in this world. The Sailors have a balanced side in terms of talent as well as experience. The team comprises two pure batsmen, eight all-rounders including big-hitting Sangram Bagul and fresh legs like Gopal Gurkhude and Abhijeet Sudhrik. The bowling department is also strengthened with the inclusion of two new medium pacers in skipper Rahul Tripathy and Pushkaraj Joshi. They have three wicket keeper batsmen in Prem Ahire, Rakesh Ubale and Suchay Khopade. Sailors are an outfit with huge expectations on their shoulders this time round and they would look to take the positives from it and perform to their fullest potential.
