Mohit is an all-rouder, who bats left-handed in the middle order, and also bowls a bit of left-arm orthodox spin. He was part of the State U-15 and 17 camps, without making it to the final squad. But Mohit eventually got his opportunity, getting a place in the State U-19 squad. Mohit faced a similar fortune in MPL too, as he remained un-auctioned for the MPL-II, before being bought by Lions for MPL-III.
