The highly talented all-rounder led Panhala Panthers in MPL-I and II, and has been in solid form in both the seasons. A former India U-19 player and a member of the India Reds in the Challenger Trophy in 2007, Mundhe is easily the best all-rounder in the State purely on his performances for the past two years. He played a full Ranji Trophy season in 2010-11, and scored his first first-class century, as well as picking up 23 wickets. Mundhe was the best player for Panthers in 2009, scoring 215 runs at an average of 43, strike-rate of 140, including three half-centuries. He also bowled the new ball, and picked up six wickets, with an economy rate of under six in batsmen-friendly conditions. The right-hander scored 154 runs, with a highest of 46, in MPL-II, and claimed eight wickets with a best of 2-19 and an economy rate of 6.90. Without a doubt, Mundhe is one of the biggest buys in the auction for MPL-III, and the all-rounder would be keen to do an even better job for his new team.
