Signed by Raigad Royals for a fee of Rs.19, 000, Ganesh Suryavanshi is a wicket keeper-batsman, who bats in the middle order for the Royals. The problem for Suryavanshi is, that he plays for the same team that has Statefs best wicketkeeper-batsman in Rohit Motwani. He did play as a batsman in a couple of games in 2009, but failed to impress. Call it luck or tough luck, Motwani has not missed a single game for Royals in MPL-II, meaning Suryavanshi hasnft got another opportunity to showcase his talent in the T20 format. The 24-year-old has played for Maharashtra at the U-16 and U-19 level.
