Nandan Kamat is an all rounder who has huge expectations on his shoulders for MPL 2010, especially after having a successful MPL campaign in 2009. The 23-year old’s off break did the trick for him last year and accounted in him picking up 15 wickets in nine games at a brilliant average of 13.53. He is also a right handed middle order batsman and has established a reputation for playing cameo innings. He was signed by Pratapgad Warriors for a fee of Rs. 33,000. He has represented the Pune University in the past and had also made it to the under-19 and under-22 probables for Maharashtra in the year 2006-2007.
