Being part of the probable list of Maharashtra U-17s in 2003-04, Jeurkar comes in with a reputation of being a hard hitting batsman. Signed by Panthers for Rs 57,000, Jeurkar had a decent first MPL season, scoring 138 runs with a strike rate of 131. He was a more thoughtful player in MPL-II, which meant a lesser strike rate (96) but more number of runs, with a best of 39 from 38 balls against Torna Tigers.
