Sanjay Gaikwad is a leg-spinner who also bats in the middle-order. Gaikwad, who has represented Maharashtra at the under-19 level, had a low profile MPL 2009 campaign, where he got to play just four games, and failed to take any wickets. He got two innings, with scores of 1 not out and 4 to show for. Gaikwad would hope to get more consistent opportunities in MPL-III.
