Prathamesh Pawar, a right-hand opening batsman who cost Panthers just Rs 13,000, had an average first MPL season. He scored 35 runs in four games he was played, and got three wickets with his part time bowling. The 23-year-old got seven games in MPL-II, but once again failed to impress, with a total of 49 runs, and a highest of 18. However, he more than made up for it with the ball, finishing with impressive eight wickets, and an exceptional economy rate of 5.69. His best figures of 3-17 came against MPL giants Raigad Royals.
