Mather and Platt owns the Team Panhala Panthers. They had a fantastic run in the MPL 2010 by making it to the semi-finals. Mather and Platt are also a dominant team in the Industrial League and are coached by the experienced Ajay Gupte, who is also a team consultant. Panthers struck gold at this year’s auction when they bagged Deepak Shilamkar, who will lead the team in the MPL-III. Mather and Platt also have seven of their own industry players among the Panthers squad. The overall team comprises six batsmen, including big hitters like Vinayak Renuse, Vipul Jeurkar, Tushar Srivastav, six all-rounders including the impressive Deepak Shilamkar and six bowlers which includes Anupam Sanklecha. The Panthers have spent Rs. 3.46 lakhs on their signings this time round, strengthening the team balance by acquiring the signature of Deepak Shilamkar.
