Once the captain of Singapore National Team and U15 and U17 Maharashtra team, Chetan Suryavanshi has more accolades to his name which also includes representing the Indian U15 squad in 1998. Suryavanshi, who was bought by the Devgiri Emperors for a fee of Rs. 1.25 lac. He had justified his value to the full by an impressive display with the bat for the Emperors in the first season of MPL. Being the captain of the team, he led example by scoring 207 runs at a strike rate of 166 per 100 balls. This 25-year old also featured in the development list for Kolkata Knight Riders and has represented West Zone at U17 & U19 levels. After a disappointing MPL season 2010, where he scored just 82 runs, Chetan would really be looking forward to get back to his best.
